Kids Strap Fireworks to Drone Fail02:10

I blew up my drone.

We were shooting a short film about two kids strapping fireworks to a drone and it turns rogue. Well, it did go rogue, but not in the way we wanted it to. One of the Roman Candles broke free and broke a propeller. The drone plummeted to the ground and suffered a violent and fiery death.

      The problem is not the drone, the problem was with the tape holding the roman candle. The candle broke free and hit one of the props. With quadcopters, if you loose one prop, you’re screwed. I do agree with everyone else who has commented so far, this is not a smart thing.

      my god how casually they talk about a $4000 machine I would give half my soul to own. Must be good to have money. no mad at you guys. if you got it you got it. no gripes their! hope to see more videos. Be safe and remember the only drone rule that matters. Don’t be Stupid 🙂
