Compare the cost to that of a DJI Phantom and GoPro. If you’re a beginner, I highly recommend that you start here before you considering purchasing, and possibly damaging/losing, higher end equipment. The little Mobius camera definitely does provide very high quality video in a small package. It’s low cost (~$68) makes it perfect for high-risk applications such as aerial video as seen here. The WL262 quadcopter drone (~$80) is relatively easy to fly, and is big enough to carry most newer lightweight cameras. And it flies very well as seen here.

How many motors have your replaced on you V262 In Total?

I am glad you got it back down without crashing. I have had a v262 since mid summer and it gave me nothing but trouble. After several motor failures where they came apart and caused it to crash I have been working on an upgrade package that will allow me to use 370 motors. I made my own motor controllers and I am in the process of putting the rest of it together. I will be posting videos soon.
The joy, from an absolute beginners perspective, of choosing a quad, as I am trying to do. The Cheerson looks great, but reviews suggest it fails too often and is fragile. Ditto machines with brushed motors. All I want is a quad which doesn’t cost a fortune, will fly for around 10 minutes or so per battery, and will grow with me should I choose to add a camera, but without having to remortgage my house. Is there such a beast? If there is, I can’t find it.
I’m generally not as fortunate with a motor failure on the V262. That’s pretty much sidelined this quad for me. For far and fast flights plus video, I have the Cheerson CX 20 which is not a problem once you’ve learned to time the flight. I’m seriously thinking of the Blade 200 QX as my smaller quad for possibly around the house and some stunt flying at the RC club. That and the cost of the Spektrum DX6i transmitter will place me in the same money or a little more than the Cheerson.. Shush, don’t tell the wife. 😉

I’m glad you made a safe landing, that isn’t a good place to be if a motor goes. As much as I enjoy flying/learning with my V262s, in the back of my mine is the thought of a sudden motor failure. Mine, fortunately, have happen over grass.
