First off, the flight video is horrible. I need to replace either my vtx, camera, or maybe the FC. I don’t know why it got completely noisy, and I can’t fly more than 500 feet.
With that said, with new Gemfan flash 3052 props, these Tachyon 1408 4100kv motors are insanely fast and got this 172gram 3″ quad up to 107mph. The GTR’s are 40grams lighter and the same speed.
I have seen videos of 3″ 6s quads, and right now, they are only the same speed as 4s, so Whats the point 6s when the power to weight ratio will be compromised.
Anyway, IMO before you spend mad money on expensive motors, jsut swap out the one’s you have with the Tachyon 1408 4100 kv if you want the fastest quad without buying a new one. $45 on Amazon
