Interesting, I was under the impression that the Phantom 4 Pro was faster than the standard Phantom 4.
I have two controllers for my mavic and really like the option to break apart the duties of video and flying. As the Mavic has but one camera both see the same thing and it effectively feels the same (from either controller) which seemed to NOT be the case with the Inspire Config. Not a knock or complaint just an observation to add to the pipeline ….. oh and Glad your still with us. š

They are all going a little faster than your radar gun shows due to the cosine effect. That’s because the measurements are taken from an angle, if the UAV’s were traveling directly towards the radar gun, the speeds would be more accurate.

I think you guys need more room back up double the distance you are.. I noticed this with my mavic Pro for to get up to its top speed I need it about 50 yards….
Did anybody bother to look at what the controller said for the speed I find it to be surprisingly accurate.. this would be a good time to test how accurate it is versus a speed gun… Did you get the same speed that was on the controller?
Something is wrong because none of them are flying to the speed they’re supposed to be. not even the inspire!!
THE TWO CONTROLLERS IS COOL..
Looking at just some of the amateur footage you guys are trying to do because you just started for the first time to use two controllers..
Now you can see this is probably what they do for motion pictures the only way to get great shots like that there is no special mode that can do what you guys are doing right now..

well done bill and ken you wouldn’t want a faster drone communicating would be a problem remember folks it’s all about reflexes and quick decisions when I was training for flight if I handed my controller to instructor quick he would fail me those days we had buddy boxes tethered by cable, not like today

How come you did not clock the Typhoon H ? I have on that will go 48 mph. I was interested in seeing what his did. I wish you would get each guy to write up a little pros and cons about each model and tell us how long each one can fly on a battery. Can you put that together for us. sport mode doesnt allow top speed for the parrot anafi. You will still have to adjust your preferences for the sport mode settings, basically pump the sport mode speed up to max. doing that you can achieve up to 35 mph. more of course flying in the wind (saw up to 40mph).
My MA has gone 42mph!
Build a real race drone. you would like it. But flying a rc race drone is a whole nother level then a GPS controlled drone like the ones you have here

Made modification to my van = now it is a Space-Mobile. What I’d like to do; get with you on a roof of my van (we need 8Ft ladder) to get you on a roof, and we need a driver (Zack will be perfect) I think. So we will sit on a roof of my van and Zack drive us over air-port run-way. Sure in post-production we can speed up video.You are specialist of “Green-Screen” Can we put green screen over vans front wind glass and after in post production show video from a drone “Zack taking off from run-way” from inside camera. I will be traveling again Monday September 3 I can be at your city Huntingdon or in an other place of TN. What do you think about……….. Hey Ken , I have that same radar gun and did you know you can buy a wireless display for it that shows current speed and max speed. Set that radar gun on a tripod and put it auto mode and the display board (4 foot by 4 feet) will show current and max speed ..

Ken it was great getting to meet you and I wish I could have stayed for the duration. I knew my Magic wasnāt going to set any speed records, but the good news is my Ice Cream won judges choice. Almost made it ok that I missed the latter part of the speed trials.
