      My experience with RC boats suggests that if possible you should always steer them into the wind as that way, if you get overly enthusiastic, which I do tend to be, the wind will eventually bring it back to you when you suddenly run out of power or if it dies

      The boat ran well for a while

      That little boat was throwing a roostertail! Would love to have an RC boat but the fear of losing it keeps me from trying. Plus I lose enough quads, lost one last weekend! Part of the hobby…
      That boat is a speedster though, good job Jay!

      i tried this on a nvq speed boat similar setup and yip he motors bought it unless they are water cooled your wasting your time ,this is how you mod a cheap rc boat ..

      The LiPo surely made a difference but it might burn our the motors (I guess) There’s a brushless boat out there that is the Feilun FT012, the price have dropped already and it’s really really fast.

      NOW, is better . A spincasting outfit with a tennis ball with small holes to run your line thru , is a must. Bringing a Yuzuri or Rapala is optional .
