I highly recommend Betaflight 4.1 if you are having trouble tuning on anything older… it has worked great for me!

I also put Betaflight 4.1 on mine and like you found, the stock tune appears to be really good, I only put my usual rates in.
Not managed to have many flights with it since I built it 2 weeks ago (atrocious winter weather), but during the few I managed I did quite a few snap rolls & flips and didn’t notice any bouncebacks, however there was a tiny bit of prop wash when stopping and quickly reversing direction, and some audible ‘fluttering’ when the throttle was over 50%.
The 1.8 lense is wider? I thought it was just more distorted?
Albert when you saying you upgrading to 4.1 all of your existing micro quads does that mean you purchase the RPM filtering firmware update for all your ESCs? I suspect not many all in one model has yet the BLHeli32 ESCs on board so the only solution left is the BLHeli S RPM filter upgrade. Am I correct or is there other options? Im having several micros now and thinking on upgrading them but Im not sure if its worth doing without RPM filtering or I should only do it after RPM filter in enabled.
Buy a pack of JESC licences and try that, RPM filtering on blheli-s is amazing! The namelessrc board is compatible, I have 2 and both run RPM filtering with JESC.
Are you having to save the config file when flashing?
I have 2 of the Ledroneclub frames, one for 11xx motors and one for 08xx motors. sell them from China and Amazon (UK) have this frame in stock as well. For the price they are great for cheap builds. Looks like 4.1 is what micros have been waiting for ?

Gday Albert, mate im a bit hesitant to use the new bf 4.1 becauase of the vtx setup and also having to pay for blheli s escs all my escs are s and not 32, should i try it and can i go back to 4.0 or if my fcs are on 3.5.7? thanks Albert. ??
Living under a rock this is so a months ago lol 3inch toothpicks sre the best got 6 built and more will be done but now to build the 4inch twig mutant…great vid keep it up

All my toothpicks on 3.5.7 fly great. Anyone do a comparison between 4.1 and 3.5.7? Curious if there are benefits if you have to tweak.
About 2 months ago some friends and I decided that the toothpick developments were mature enough to actually buy in. Clearly we’d read lots of TP3 stuff but that all felt too fresh for us. I think your observation that everyone has moved on confirms our decision that it was indeed time to start out! ?Maybe we’ll move on to the TP3 craze in another 6-12 months. Really enjoying the Diatone 229 cube (not really a TP) with 2.5″ Avans! 4.1 is also flying well for us. Went there straight from 3.5.7, thanks to the experience you and others have shared.
