For advanced flyers only, 100 percent mode allows the maximum speed of the CG022. It also activates autoflipping. Here’s how to use this advanced flight mode. You can get the CG022 here:

My thoughts on the CG022:
Definite buy! A lot of capability in a $26 quadcopter.
1. Excellent range with transmitter. Can fly it out until it’s a dot in the sky and still maintain control.
2. Powerful motors with excellent acceleration.
3. Very colorful lights for night flying.
4. Great “flipper”. Can do repeated flips without dropping.
5. Headless mode allows twirling pirouettes while flying horizontally. There’s no other quad near this price range with this feature.

I need something small but quick with good range for around the house flying. The JXD 392 is great but I want some variety for my neighbors who walk by. 😉 You are correct for the beginners to practice in an open area. I have lost my share when I was learning orientation.
I just ordered one of these quads thanks for the review bro
hi, what do you think about this one?
This one on GoGo is actually teamed by engineers, and they have built working prototypes. So yeah, this can be cool if they can produce these and keep the price competitive.
still expensive 🙂
+Gerald Stan yeah but this one actually has a chance of becoming reality, as compared to the following which is nothing more than a CG image, with no engineering behind it:
would you recommend cg022 or the jxd 388?
which is faster and better perform ing and more durable?
It’s a hard comparison. The JXD 388 is definitely more maneuverable. Quadcopter Drone Pylon Racing: JXD 388 vs WLToys V252
But it doesn’t have headless mode like the CG022. Headless mode really is neat. It makes night flying extremely simple. But if you’re more into racing,/maneuverability, then go with JXD. It is definitely a great and fun flyer.
I was going to shoot you a msg about this quad as I like it so much… but I see you are all over it.
Yeah I was out yesterday with it on the lake bed. Was experimenting with the headless mode to see if it maintains sync if it momentarily flies out of range. I activated headless before takeoff, then sent it high and far until it lost contact. Then I pulled back on the controller and gave some throttle. As it was dropping, it momentarily regained contact and flew back toward me. I did the same again and again. Got to say I think that this is the absolute best quadcopter for a beginner.
What do u think about that?
+Gerald Stan this is really nothing new. RC ornithopters have been around for a while. The only difference is that the Bionic Bird is controlled through a smart phone (which isn’t that great an idea, as it can be quite difficult to maintain accurate control with just a touchpad). Anyway’s here’s just one example of its many competitors already on the market.
How fast does this thing go?
Never measured it, but it’s not one of the fastest. But here’s another one that just came out recently with similar headless mode features. It also has an added camera. If you replace the following’s props as shown with JXD 388 props (cost $2), it becomes a very fast and maneuverable flyer.
I’m a big fan of your reviews. I always refer to your reviews along with Flyin Ryan’s reviews. You two set the standard! This CG022 along with the CG023 both look like incredible quads for the cost. I plan to purchase both this week! Keep up the good work buddy!
