Fiberglass arms??? Are you kidding? I love Holybro products and the Kopis2 SE is a high-spec machine with plenty of performance… but seriously, whose idea was it to skimp on materials for the arms and base-plate?
Pro’s:
– it’s fast on 4S and probably rocket-like on 6S
– good spec components from reputable manufacturers
– easy to set up and get flying
– stretched-X sure handles nice
– 6S-ready out of the box
Cons:
– a bit pricey?
– fiberglass-core instead of pure carbon???
– no camera mounts (the Kopis 1 had them)
– the Lolipop antennas have never worked well for me
Bottom line:
Stay tuned, I’ve almost set up the racing track for this year so I’ll be bashing some gates with the Kopis2 soon and then we’ll know if those arms will hold up.

I think it’s made outta old After 8 mints. Why do so many of these quads look so much like the floss? It’s quite a departure from the original Kopis. You are right tho Bruce no self respecting racer is gonna buy one of these. So who is it for?
307 without prop nuts. Those motors are heavy but are powerful.
The printing on the box is a little of, as you can read that as being solid CF, but it’s a new sandwich material. I’ve told Arthur from Holybro that, when he announced the Kopis 2 SE on RC Groups. I suspect they will change the text on newly printed boxes, to avoid confusion.
As for the frame, it definitely feels stronger than the sandwich frames we’ve seen on the Furibee Nebula 230, and the first batch of the Eachine Wizard X220S. Those sandwich frames used some foam as core, and were definitely weaker than full CF, however in this case, Holybro might have gotten it right. And I suspect this sandwich frame might actually be harder and more expensive to make, than just cutting the arms from solid CF. Now, has anyone broken an arm yet?

I agree about the T-Motors the quality has dropped a lot and yes Carbon is Black! They cheaped out on this drone and increased the price!

I have crashed this quad hard, like really hard! Some of the front screws (holding the standoffs) sheered right off, but I have not yet managed to damage the Frame. It is an outstanding frame, no other words!
