      hey. I have been trying to find an answer to this question. I have phantom 3 standard. I also have bought a phantom 3 advanced gimble and Camara. can I switch the standard gimble and Camara out with advanced or not? I have the standard remote . if not is there a way to power up the advanced gimble and Camara and use that on another quad or tricopter? didn’t know if I should sell it or use it. thanks for any replies

      I know this is an old video. Have you tried adjusting the values to the new min of 0.2 and max of 0.8?

      Can’t answer for sure, but even if you could, at best you’re probably looking at RAW RGB 10-bit at 720@30fps. I’m sure the camera can do much more, but the limitations usually lie with the processing hardware and storage speed limits (SD cards are not great for storing RAW footage, which has bit-rates several orders of magnitude higher than compressed footage). If it was just an easy software unlock, you can bet that DJI would be selling it 🙂

      hi man,, i have a phantom 3 professional and for some reason i caanot change the expo values,, the numbers get red and nothing changes.. what could be the reason?? values goes from 0.2 to 0.8… thnx!!!

      just tried this setting the Yaw to 0.37 but every time I go of the page and back On it has changed back 0.40 do I have to do this every time I use it or is there a way of storing the setting.

      P you have to do it with the drone connected. I think the settings are stored in the drone actually.

      Tom – Great video, as usual. Btw, the blue line is called the “transfer function” and the Rudder has a “linear transfer function,” which means, the copter moves in an equal amount (I,.e. directly proportional) to the movement of the stick – it responds linearly. The other curves are non-linear. And btw, this is the way a waveshaper or distortion box works (think Hendrix) – it applies a non-linear response to the audio input to produce distortion on the output.
