#MonsterQuadcopter #iFlight #SpeedTests
Very capable bird.
???
Crash it at all looks fragile
Surprised you don’t monitor amperage and wattage.
Hi Gal Great video and flying that little monster, Next you need to get a X-Class from Catalist. Thanks for the show
Wow I need thus drone :))
0-143kmh in 2 seconds ( 89mph )is pretty darn fast! I still want to dig those fields. History, history, history.
Cool test! It always surprises me that 3-13” quads are all similar in top speed when built with higher spec components. But what large props offer is higher cruising speeds at mid throttle. This bad-boy covers a lot of ground just cruising around!
Very cool!!
I can see a bumpy ride. I guess 7″ kwads and above are very hard to tune in BF. have my 8″ build but is a b*!#tch to tune. its like riding on a rocky surface(not smooth)
How do you feel about the 1100kv motors? I am looking to build this same quad and wondering if 880kv might be better? I still plan to fly it on 4s and 6s but wondering if it may perform better with lower KV motors and have more torque to spin up the props more instantaneously. Would 880kv be too low on 10” props? Is 1100kv perfect? What about 1700kv? Lol, I can’t make up my mind on the motor KV choice
I have basically the same build as you but using both the iflight 60a 4in1 and Sussex-d F7 TwinG FC.
Do you have a PID tune dump for both 4s and 6s and I can try and tune off yours?
Were you using the world’s smallest batteries? lol You could probably get substantially better on your “flight time” tests with a whole lot more mah.
