Thanks for the tests! Looking forward to the dalrc engine. Perhaps also a poor 4in 1 like the typhoon with/without low esr tests? Or do you have a typhoon single motor test? Anyway thank you again
Mine seems to work as well and as smooth in flight as your bench tests show.
I fly a Karearea Talon with Tekko32 4-in-1, Holybro Kakute F4 v2, T-Motor F40 II pro as my race setup.
Holybro Kakute F4 v2 – Tekko32 4-in-1 is a beautiful match.
Also interested in seeing if emf blocking is real. I use some snail copper tape over the top of my esc, and ground it. This may be also why the dalrc has a metal heatsink.
I noticed from pictures that on newer Tekko 32 4 in 1 boards they modified the layout to prevent the nuts from interfering with the surface mount components.
Your test is really giving a clear visual representation of what is going on inside the circuit and the different between good and bad component. I love when scientific evidences speak for themselves. I wonder how bad ESC can ruin motors and other components with electrical noise.
One little thing. I had just installed new Flycolor BLS pro 30A ESC on my old quad, replacing Racerstar RS20A lite running AokFly RV2205 2500kv motors. I thought the RS20A lite is noisy and cause the motors to heat up so fast even on motor spin test in Betaflight without PID but motors still getting toasty with Flycolor ESC on the same spin test 1300pwm for 1 minute with 5040 props on. It seems these motors will get hot no matter what ESC driving them.
The FPV feed is perfectly clean though. AKK 600mw on 12v reg with 470uf cap on main lead. The quad can cruises smoothly for up to 9 minutes on 1500mah 4s battery.
I’m betting the Aikon AK32 will beat the Tekko.
When will you test the Spedix 32bit or the Aikon 32?
Is there a chance that you explain that graphs? Specialy that colored one. 🙂 Thanks for great work.
Nice.
Can you test the new speedix gs40.
Supposed to the buts of an esc. I’m not so sure. You’re the perfect guy to tell us.
Your videos need a bit more of a bokeyh
Would you consider testing Aikon AK32 4-in-1? It’s another great one and I’m very curious how it performs compared to Tekko 32
Ok I wanna know what’s better noise and control wise, a 4in1 or 4 individual escs!!?!?
