Are micro fpv quads good for beginners? I’m thinking about getting one for my first drone, maybe an x4 from hubsan.

Amazing how fast mini quads with FPV have flooded the market since 2015.
The Toad 90mm is the same size as those quads, but feature brushless motors, Betaflight tuning, a lot of thrust with a 5-bladed propeller and it has realistic FPV with realistic flight times for the same cost when purchased from China.
These quads are underpowered, carry too much weight and the flight time is laughable.

Looks like so much fun! I made a video about how to replace the motor on the hubsan x4. check it out if you crashed and broke a motor! Really easy fix!

Interesting results,my wl toys v686 is FPV it is 5.8 ghz, not cheesy wi fi and works really well for under 60.00, it came with everything from the quad, to the radio, battery ,and even the fpv screen,you really can’t beat it.
You guys should do an updated video of this with the new super cheap banggood stuff. The Eachine E010S and similar stuff (maybe compared to these and a home built TinyWhoop).

nice video, do these have altitude control? or are you guys just really good at flying? I bought a holy stone drone for 50$ and I can’t seem to fly it inside because I can’t keep the altitude steady. have any suggestions? or maybe a “learning how to fly” video? thanks

I got about for or five but the battery last 3/4min. And some can’t change battery, some not got altitude hold, anyway I would like one that last at list over the 5 min. Altitude hold. I haven’t flown the Maverick, unfortunately I got the phantom 3s also unfortunately because I only got them all in the last 5/6 months and yes I love them but again unfortunately I got unwell and can’t go out as much and doubts that I will in near future. I just said all because now u can make a better assessment for the drone that suits me best yes I know is many out there and so on but I totally truest your judgement Expertise and if I don’t like it is my problem after all I got about 7or8 from phantom4 to my favorite CX10WD-TX fpv mini JJRC H20 can’t find charger😡 flown ones but didn’t like nice but need know how. I know nothing.
