Beautiful sunrise. I was glad to see you head uphill and dissappointed that
you didn’t get up to the volcano (at least this time). Congrats on 62.7 mph
… thinking that’s a new record, even for you 🙂 I had an interesting
event this evening. I was filming another sunset (in stages) and got a
“WARNING – Battery Signal Lost … Land Immediately” alarm. Turns out, I
hadn’t shoved the battery in fully and the lock tabs weren’t engaged. Just
thought about what would happen if the battery vibrated out a bit and the
motors lost all voltage …. that wouldn’t be good 🙂 The video will be up
in the morning :-)

Eric, just wondering when you said 4.45 miles, it does mean distance flight
or distance between your RC (remote control) and AC (aircraft)? Nice
footage anyway.
Sunrise? or sunset? – didn’t really matter…it’s a beautiful flight 😉
…What’s the name of that volcano in the foreground? Is there a road that
will take you up there? Almost a perfect cone from the distance.
