Once we solve the issue of having substantially higher power densities in batteries, SO much is possible with these drones. High-speed delivery of lightweight items, rapid response to record video of crimes/events, etc. Have it stationed on an automated landing/charging pad, it can reach anything within <2.4mi in under 70 seconds (accounting for lifting off and acceleration).

Tried that crap box GPS and its highly innacurate.
At similar speeds was reading 44mph and 17mph and though in a car it was dead accurate I believe the g force or simply the fact of moving so fast the satellites couldn’t keep up.
Better off flying through a football field goal and then through the other end and getting a 1000% accurate measurement.
I’ve tried a 150$ velocity v3 GPS logger which is like 22g and works much better and has Google earth mapping and can compare upwind and downwind and descending speeds and find if speeds are flawed by reading 190mph. Between the quad moving 85mph before that and then 8ymph after that.basically the speed shouldn’t be there so pretty accurate.quantum GPS sucks and believe guiness breaks em with a hammer if you try to show them one as a record.
Sorry, but there’s a drone hitting 179mph now, so yours isn’t the world’s fastest.

I have all the left overs from 3 other quads which I can put together and insted of using the bord at the bottom which is way smaller I can use them as a main bord so I am guessing my quad will be nearly similar to the one in this video. epic 6s action! forgive me for being a critic but i noticed that the trajectory did not seem ideal for a speed record tho. (at least as far as i can tell from the spectator viewpoint on this video) Assuming that theres no wind advantage at play, i would definitely be focussed on gaining max momentum at the exit of a huge loop or possibly a massive turn, and then flatout into the long straight, preferably downward as much as possible for that extra bit of gravity helping along.. just a thought tho. haven’t exactly attempted to achieve a world speed record myself so perhaps I’m thinking about it too easily here. great job tho! ????

I at least want to build one and get my feet wet. Not quite this elaborate as of now of course, but want in. Any tips or suggestions how to go at it in the U.S. will be greatly appreciated.
