This is one of the first test flights that I made with the YMFC-32 flight controller software. The software, website and tutorial videos are almost ready!
The YMFC-32 is a 32-bit follow-up flight controller of the 8-bit YMFC-AL. The processor speed is also a major difference…. 72MHz vs 16MHz! This will make it possible to further develop the code in the future.
The YMFC-32 is not a high level flight controller. Its purpose is to give others a head start to develop their own 32-bit flight controller. This with the easy to use and familiar Arduino IDE.

My goal is to release the software on January 13, 2018.
Awesome again.
Wow thats a smooth flying quad?
Is it only in video or is it really that quiet?
Fantastic progress, well done!
hello sir, I am so happy about your helpful lectures. but
there is one essential step you have not introduce in your series which is: “testbench” that you use to tuning the PID’s gains and guaranteed the stable flight of quadrotor, before going in the air, I will be so glad if you add a video to explain you test-band
All the effort to get to this point, Is so satisfying with doing such projects, worth it.
Great first video(s) of this series. Your earlier videos inspired me to build a 450 quadcopter based loosely on your designs. I am using an Arduino Due, vs Uno, as the controller. I am also using a different 9DOF measurement unit, a separate barometer, onboard GPS, some FRAM (since Due has no eeprom), and a BLE modem for some wireless comms. A six channel DSM2 receiver also. So far it’s all integrated and working. Adapting code between very different platforms and peripherals is ‘time permitting’, but it’s getting there. LOL I included red and green status LEDs also. And an independent mode/cmd button. I’m really looking forward to the updates you make to your base code. I’ve learned a lot from it. Power on dude!
Hello brother, can I use other transmitter, bcoz i not have sufficient money till now
hii joop it is very very difficult to control the ymfc-al quadcopter sometimes it just flips and landing is also difficult
Is there any way to use ESP8266 to control the YMFC using Android
Sir special request can you release this on 12 january 2018 please sir
Hi Mr brokking, thank u so much for this vidéo, I really appreciate the academic work u doing
Does anyone have a complete hardware parts list for the whole project? I’d love to try this project. Thanks in advance
BuonGiorno …Perchè non avete messo i sottotitoli al video? Grazie
