Did you let the nylon cure? To be printable it needs to be dry but to have more impct resistance/flexibility it needs time to pick up water from the air.
I really liked the TPU aproach. I would probably explore that a little more. My idea would be to print the TPU frame but with slots along the arms and then print PLA (because its cheap) or a more rigid filament “flat sticks” to insert in those slots to make it rigid. If it hit something, the PLA would break but the TPU wouldn’t, then just insert a new PLA stick and good to go! Print a couple of them and you would be flying for a long time I would say. Still a very cool video as usual and loved that fall at 6:00 xD.

why dont you try this with carbon fiber filament?
was the petg dry. it is very strong if dried properly. some brands are be5tter than others. had good luck with tecbears and some luck with sunlu. also fiberglass nylon, or carbon fiber nylon or petg.

I tried Fiberlogy PP and it didn’t last long. Also it was f*** hard to print. Now I’m trying nylon-pa12cf15. Wish me luck 😀

use truss structures in the gap of the arms of the drone frame. The Truss structure may help in distributing the impact when crashed to any obstacle.
