The quad seems really over priced
Great review John. Question – was that screenshot of the PIDs those that came on the product or what you changed them to? Is that what you run on your 5″ racers? Thanks buddy!
Looks like a sweet bird, but the price:/thanks bro:)
come on , this is not a review … it s looking heavy and under powered by a lot and this is no beginner friendly , as soon as the guy will switch from this to a standard powered kwad he will have an hard time to manage the trottle . a brushless whoop would be more suited .
Great and thorough review as always, glad to see you back at it. As a sometimes seller of FPV goods, these pricing levels seem very attractive for a BNF kit. But as a builder and buyer of FPV goods, these pricing levels do seem inflated. This is on par with the Diatone offerings for less, and transmitter is about on par with the jumpers that are out now.
I like the strategy however, to test the market to see if the brand recognition can get them those beginner customer acquisitions who want a package that is truly ready to fly, and more powerful than a Tinyhawk (the other great RTF combo).
I personally have been wanting to sell bundles like this for a while, but for me shipping the transmitter ends up being a road block because it raises shipping costs considerably and eats into the margins. So for those that are saying this is wildly over priced, keep in mind that they still have to be able to clear a large shipping cost (probably $13-20 per kit).
Wow that price
Looks pretty nice, dude. ?
Great flying!!!
Great review. Great lookin groups of quads that archangel has made but the price is crazy high.
If a noob he’s dumped in that kind of money on their first quad they better have Deep Pockets a beginner will blow that quad up in no time everybody’s first quad only lasts a short while. It’s a beautiful machine but oh my God the price
HOLY CRAP! $545 ?? YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING! I got my XJB-145 for $126 on coupon, so I could buy 4 FOUR XJB-145’s and a decent steak dinner for that RIDICULOUS PRICE! ?
OR, better yet, one XJB-145 AND SOME FATSHARK HD3 CORE GOGGLES on coupon with the Achilles diversity receiver!
NO FUC%ING WAY I’D PAY THAT FOR A N Y OF THOSE DRONES! ????
It’s nice but not over 500 nice. I’m not sure even half price compared to other nice quads out there. But it is a great looker. Great review thank you!
Very well set up rtf, great video. Looking forword to the future of new pilots. 🙂
Bro, great video!!!
Are they on CRACK or WHAT ! I can’t believe it’s $545 for a 2in. quad.
Diatone r249 is 120$ and can do 4s, sold out for a reason. I would rather build a toothpick whoop on 2s. For the price of this archangel, I can build x2 5″ race quads.
No beginner will invest such a price!
At that price I imagine the only people who will have this are the vendor’s employees, sponsored racers and YouTube reviewers. LOL. Nice quad though.
$545 i can build 6 for that price but it was a great review
