All around the googles work well and are a good value for the price. This is assuming your eyes are able to focus on the screen and the goggles fit well on your face. Both were fine for me and I was able to fly with these as easily as with my Fatsharks. You will need to try these on first to make sure you don’t have focus and fitment issues.

I only wish a goggle with these features At this price existed when I started.
DVR footage looked pretty decent! I also spied that beebrain lite flying.
I don’t think you need to do a head to head against another goggle on this one.
I tried my friend’s older Fat Shark goggles and it was like looking at a postage stamp sized screen at the end of a hallway. I could not believe how lame they were. My Eachine 800D goggles are like being in a home theater with a 100in screen. I guess my question is, are the newer Fat Shark goggles THAT much better? Have they done something with the technology that makes the ‘tiny screen at the end of a hallway’ thing a complete non-issue now? Do people just use them because they look cool and/or get great reception and they learn to deal with the less than optimal screen size? I’d love to get something less, well, boxy than my box goggles lol but not if I’m going to be squinting at some tiny little picture.
Mr. Kim, you say that it has 2 receivers which I understand is “true diversity”. The specs state that the it has dual receiving antennas. Receiver Connector : RP-SMA Male
Charging Real-time standby function
Dual receiving antenna
I have some FatShark box goggles that has 2 receivers and is offered with one receiver that is significantly cheaper in price. I am thinking about buying these goggles for a friend of mine just getting into fpv. I just want to make sure I know what I am buying him. Thanks Scott
All i want 4 x-mas is to learn acro!!!
What fpv camera is on the quad you fly in your house on this video? The picture looks good.
I guess the VRD2 Pro maybe? I still use my old VRD2 goggles for random spectators and they still work pretty well.
Thanks for a nice review! I used the eachine VR007 pro up until recently. I finally got some Fat Sharks. But you are exactly right about getting what you pay for. I think that the most important thing is the receiver signal quality. I can deal with some flaws, (awkward interface, heavier weight, screen resolution, etc.) but as long as I can get a good signal, im happy. Keep up the good work!
you are spot on with this review – not an upgrade to anything but damn good beginner goggles.
Maybe I can suggest a better solution for a little more money. I just got a pair of (HD 2×720, lcos) Eyezone goggles for 100 usd on Banggood. Add a 4.5 usd 1.4 fatshark update module ( special on HobbyKing) and a classic 7 usd A/V-HDMI board – a grand total of about 111 USD for what is basically a pair of Fatsharks. Worried about warranty – buy 3-5 sets for the same price. Mine worked like a charm and are super duper comfy (pig face). They feel like a real quality product as well – solid – you know. Just a thought – I’m still smiling smugly – punch-worthy levels of smugness, I’m afraid. That setup rivals my glyphs in some respects. Some 🙂 nb. these vr d3’s are a way better solution than the EV800’s even though the 800 screen is better, but the facial fit on those is crap unless you had your face bashed in repeatedly with a freestyle quad. 6S and with a Gopro mounted. Pardon my crap spellings (I assume)
So these of the EV800D ?
Question, have you reviewed the Airbot A2 HD video camera / recorder?
Would likea to know how it holds against the Caddx Turtle, Runcam split etc…
You helped… thanks!
i want a pair i have a beat up set of the ev800 with the 1 antenna so these would be a huge upgrade for me thanks for a great review Albert
Side by side reception test please 🤞
Who the frig thinks these are in any way comparable to fat sharks? Silly you even have to announce that to viewers
Side by side with the 800d and the vr006! I think is the same screen with the vr006 and my question is if the diversity is doing something cuze I have external DVRs I could add to a vr006 ( DVR cost 8€ and the vr006 29€) and in the end we will add external batterys so mod is not a Problem I think
I would love to see the comparison with EV800D receivers VS VRD3 receivers. Great review!
