Drone Racing Mid-Air Collision

I was pretty stoked with the footage of this FPV drone race between my buddy Jani and I. The whole race was neck and neck as we exchanged places numerous times. Towards the end I went wide around a corner as he hugged the same corner. Next thing you know he’s in my frame and we have a mid-air collision.

Mid-airs happen all the time in drone racing. However, it usually doesn’t come out that well in the GoPro footage. This one turned out pretty cool. No drones where damaged (only props). 🙂
