I have been planning this for a VERY LONG TIME! I have held on to this single inner tube from the wheel of my old 1/5 scale RC Loader, (I got rid of it when I got my 8000lb RC Skid Steer). I have also kept my driver of the JET SKI all these years.. and have always figured he would make a great candidate to be the crash test dummy behind my JET BOAT! The Jet Boat is a Streamline RC “Thrasher” (I have many videos of this excellent boat!). Get one here: https://streamlinerc.com/collections/thrasher-v3-collection
I like the the fact the boat is self-righting. It also has a jet system, that doesn’t get caught up in weeds like a prop does.. PERFECT for pulling a tow rope. Also, the ceramic bearing means I NEVER have to grease this thing! The adjustable nozzle gives me great control over how the boat controls itself in the water – and the onboard POWERFUL Bilge Pump means I dont have to go swimming for this boat very often! A perfect water-sport boat for deep and shallow water.
I know, I know.. Im “playing with dolls” or whatever you want to say.. HEY, THEY ARE ACTION FIGURES (hands on hips).. Lol! I cant pull an empty inner tube around..
I added a GoPro HERO7 Black — Waterproof Action Camera with Touch Screen 4K Ultra HD Video ability with AMAZING stabilization software properties – get one here: https://amzn.to/3hYrgfn
And I already know people will ask about my sunglasses – (they are OAKLEY CLIFDEN PRIZM “Snow-Torch” 56mm – and you can get them from Oakley here: https://amzn.to/37MwJl1
What can I say?! I had a vision of inner-tubing with an action figure behind a jet boat.. and I make a show about the radio control hobby on YouTube. Seems to go hand in hand if you ask me! hah!

ALL OF YOUR SUGGESTIONS WENT IN TO PART 2! ENJOY!!
usually when you do that with a real boat…the boat has a post at the back to keep the string out of the water
Put a skid plate on it or Snow skis from an rc snowmobile
Have you ever towed a real tube? Just loop the string through the tube, center your rider!
The rope on the boat needs to be above the deck.might also want to figure out a way to get to line on the inner tube in the center, not above or below the inner tube.might balance it better. Great concept though.
Lay him on his stomach
Kin needs Barbie on his lap and Mr. Bill? driving…!!
Tie the rope around the front of the tube and it will pull it more even and level .if ya want to try that and allso put another hole in the back side of the tape so water can come out when pulling ..
Something you can attach the rope to like 2 inches above the top of the boat. Right now the tube is just trying to go where the rope goes but unfortunately that happens to be under water. Take the rope out of the water some how, problem solved my friend
Tie the rope higher on the boat, on the rear deck lid above the water. The goal is keep the rope in the air
Take him thru the drop down of that creek
You asked for more suggestions? I have an important one. The rear of the inner tube is rounded, which pulls water upward as the tube is drawn forward. Have you noticed that all fast boats have a straight up transom, while slower sailboat hulls are rounded at the rear? Pulling the water upward has the same effect as pulling the rear of the tube downward, into the water, causing tremendous resistance.. So, how do you fix that? You need to flatten the rear underside of the tube so that the water skims away from underneath instead of trying to curl upward.
I have been enamored with the Thrasher ever since version 1. It’s such a well engineered boat. I even contacted Scott to try to buy one of their jet drives. If you ever get tired of the Thrasher, Aaron, you know where to send it, dude 😉 Thanks for sharing your day with us.
Add a wake tower to one of your boats. Pulling the rope up and out of the water will stabilize the boat and rider.
Bring the rope out of the water i am from florida we go tubbing all the time
????
Should have tide the rope to the go pro mount keeping it out the water
Thought it was a. Actual human in the tube, judging from the thumbnail.
Tape your pull string to the inner tube could you add your angle of lift bring it over there outside however low to the water you want it to change pitch of him jumping the waves
