If you’re just learning or you’re already a novice at flying FPV, you know that to become better, you must practice, practice and then more practice! I sometimes go through a battery or two, during my warm-up flight, performing a drill I call “slow flying & hover drill!” (I either try to fly a racer like a “selfie” bird by hovering or do some slow aerial photograpy type flying… “works for me!”)

Yes, yes, yes, Awesome Flying Dj SoulForce 👍 Loved the entire flight !!! ‘Slow flying and hovering’, makes sense. Many martial arts masters respect the saying: ‘ If you can not do it slowly, you never can do i fast.’. The drill that I somehow developed spontaneous before taking up my Bugs 2 is first ‘scan’ the environment of what directions I desire to fly. Like I prepare the trajectory in my mind. Besides of that, I see you already fly good FPV. I am aiming to soon start doing that too with the Bugs3 which will arrive here coming Monday. Thank you for you DJ 👍 POW!!!

The ET125 is a great quad to learn FPV with. The thing will take a beating and keep on flying. I have it and the ET115 and really enjoy them both. I also fly the Fly Egg 130, Tiny 6 and Tiny 7. King Kong/ LDARC make some nice RTF FPV birds.

What’s up Deej! I hate to sound like a broken record, man, but here’s the thing about Acro: You barely feel the wind – IF AT ALL! Flying in the wind in Horizon is much more difficult and much less “cinematic”, if you will. The flight controller is working hard battling the wind AND keeping you level, and the resulting video will always be jumpy and shaky. You’ll eventually get to a point in acro where you will be able to fly slow, too, but I’m tellin you, brother, you are gonna love it when you finally commit to it. It’s the $h!t, man! FLIP THAT SWITCH! Fantastic job as usual, Deej. You are indeed MY hero. ** Hey, side note, I’m gonna do Flite Fest in Ohio in a few weeks. I’ve always wanted to go and now I have the opportunity. Great flying Soul Force! You inspire me to get better at my FPV flying skills. I was practicing in the spring, but since summer has arrived I’m out flying my DJI drones again. I’m thinking about gettin those DJI Goggles, I heard good things about how clear they are. And they connect to the Mavic wirelessly. Your doing great, I haven’t even tried horizon yet and everyone is getting on you about acro. Stay cool my friend, summer is here and temps are rising.
