Riding a motorbike is classified as “exercise” in Australia! Come over!
excited for the next bike !!
Great video, electric is definitely the best way to go. My days of bike riding are over but here in London it’s not the safest place to ride. Stay safe, not long and you’ll be back to normal unlike the UK ?.
I can click the thumbs up only once. So here ???????????????? more deliveried ?.
And i am EXITED!!! About the new Bike. ?️⚡ Hope you can ride again soon.
New bike, I cannot wait to see it. I just have an electric car. I used to ride Kawasaki triple’s
Nice. I like the Akira clip. Good sound advice as well.
Hey guy. How are you getting around the legal restriction in your country for the Lightning?
Thanks
The best advice: You wouldn’t wash a computer, would you? The thing I always wonder about lithium batteries is if you have a full charge and you need the power dropped down to 60% or so whats the best way? Just sitting there with it on seems like a waste. Hanging out in the garage doing burnouts for two hours might be fun but seems like it’d be rough on the tires.
Stupid question, is a “mennekes type 2” different from what the Americans call a “j plug type 2”?
Also much stupider question, I have a bunch of salvage 18650s, would it be possible to use them as a “power tank” for an fx by wiring a pack in parallel?
Or will the ECU throw a fit?
I cleverly charged to 90%. I simply forgot to unplug. But I couldn’t go anywhere. Brilliant work on my part.
So I plugged an inverter into the 12v outlet and put a 60 W lamp on it. After a couple of days of 1 hour at a time discharging it got down to 79% and there it stayed. 3 days (about 20 hours) of discharging didn’t move it. The Zero obviously wasn’t calculating charge properly. So I put it on charge for 24 hours and then rode out for takeaway. The furthest place I thought I could get away with. Burned it down to 74% and decided that was as close as I could get.
Trials that I didn’t expect in the lockdown. (Australian lockdown is about like NZ stage 3). Kia kaha
What’s weird about the silhouette is that the monoshock doesn’t resemble any motorcycles I can think of that’s electric and available at the moment. Maybe I’m just not seeing it but the LS-218 and Strike have a monoshock which faces “/” direction and not “.” Also, that bellypan doesn’t really fit the Strike or LS-218. Definitely not a Livewire. The bellypan fits an SR/S and SR/F better, but not exactly, and the flyscreen is definitely not from either of those bikes. The most viable match is the Strike…
I spent way too much time guessing and writing this then I should have – and I’m still shook haha. Can’t wait to see it when it arrives!
I am getting excited.
HEY I KNOW THIS GUY!!!!
How zero swingarm is bolted into frame ? fell entirely different from other bike swingarms
Cool.
Your Lightning Strike is on its way…. Cool. I am still waiting, hoping mine can be delivered, or I can pick it up, by the end of May.
I Have a request. Please make test rides with other brands if you could find them like the KTM Freeride E, Super Soco, or NIU, or the Evoke Motorcycles.
Great tips! Gotta keep them expensive batteries on the up and up!
