How much does this drone cost your from scratch? Is it affordable?
This is kinda funny…. you’re just starting to get addicted to quads, as I
just start to get addicted to planes :)

What tool do you use for CAD?
I’ve alsow build a cheap Quadcopter with the same motors, ESCs and props.
But I mounted the ESCs below the prop, so they are cooled all the time.
They don’t even get hot. My Battery (20C 5000mAh 3s) gets warmer than the
ESCs and the motors, even when I fly fast. But I alsow had some problems
with the ESCs. I bought 6 of them. Two work perfectly fine, two spin the
propellers extremely slow sometimes, so you cant’s start and two simply
stopped working a few seconds in flight, witch caused some crash’s.
i think in the end it will be cheaper to buy a frame. But i like the idea
of heaving my own quad aswell

To get the frame built use armattan productions and they could sell the
frame for you.
I did almost the same thing, except after buying a bunch of frames. Making
something you can fly at home is amazingly rewarding! Also if your ecs’s
can run Multishot you can change the startup beeps to 3 other sounds.
