A beautiful balloon ride at dawn. A perfect time to jump.

Doug contacted me the night before to ask if I would like to film him. I jumped at the opportunity and I rushed to Best Buy minutes before they closed to buy my first GoPro. The Wiz (thanks again Jubal) hooked me up with the 3D model I needed for the GoPro to mount on my drones Skitzo frame. I set that up to print and went to bed. I knew it would an early morning.

I was up at 4:00 to clean the GoPro mount, assemble the camera and mount it to the drone. I had to pick Steve up at 5:30, in the morning. Steve didn’t wake up until 7:00 but he was in the truck as we raced to beat the sunrise to Pahrump.

We met Doug and the crew as they began to unload the balloon and set up to inflate. I took this time to for my maiden GoPro flight around the assembly. And so the adventure begins…
