I’m telling you that bike just needs to be dialed in. You’re an amazing rider the bike HAS the potential but maybe the team needs to slow down and take baby steps for success. It’s one thing if in Moto America BMW was always in 1st or 2nd. But they haven’t done that yet and until they get it all sorted out with perfecting the bike vs drastic changes then the results will be seen. I know it sucks but hang in there man and dont give up on BMW just yet.
this mask horseshit is pure ignorance and dumb for instance this chick at 7:51 – 8:51 no mask on then all of a sudden has one on at 8:52. WTF for!!??? No one else wearing one either most of the time. Theres no consistency in this mask scam!! major BS thats why I have never worn one ever this year. I recognize BS a mile away
Get a Groove ring brother
Is this by gray???
I think the bsb would love you!!
✊????
Nice one Josh. Keep up the awesome content ????
Oh and bye the way, can I get your red sliders ??? because as you said in one of the other videos “try and get them” as in red knee sliders, well I tried buddy and nope I can’t get them ???
It’s been driving me crazy, they would look ? on my black/red alpinestars suit buddy ??????????
Race supersport
Hey Josh!…this question is for you or anyone who can relate….I noticed you removed your chin guard on your helmet for better airflow….but I tried that and after I hit a high speed on my bike, I get a big rush of air from that area and its so much air that it makes my eyes water and then I have trouble seeing….Do you get that same rush of air ?….does that air affect your eyes at all?
The ol googan squad tackle box lol
This is spectacular!
Dude, Josh had to be one of the realest, coolest pro riders ever. He gives no shitts and just acts like one of the boys. Know fake stuff for the sponcers. By far my favorite rider. Your the man Josh. I’m always in your corner man.
Wow…I was really moved by your authenticity. When you were bummed out, you said exactly what everyone thinks but is too afraid to say. You’re the man! Keep up the authenticity brother!
I liked racing you in a helicopter a few years ago for the helmet shoot at Thunder Hill. Playing chicken was kinda cool????????
To bad you couldn’t have stayed with Yamaha. You and the R1 were perfect together. Good luck Bruddah!
Josh, from a former roadracer like you, Brother I have been there done that, been where you are and its feels like your entire racing world is against you. You feel like your team is losing trust/faith, you feel your image as a racer is getting craped on, people around you are all talking about you in a negative way. These are all mind games brother that every racer fights with. I know you have felt like you have held strong ? for years now and not alot in your mind is happening from the input and energy your putting into it. The only reason these other guys are winning is because their bikes are older , they have all the data from track to track for years on end and you know this. You have a great bike and ya its like all bikes has issues from time to time but its what you do with that info that will press you forward. To me YOU and then Josh Hayes are two most talented and skilled racers on the market and you both got massively screwed over for a MotoGP ride. The very fact your even bothering to be here in US and don’t have a MotoGP or WSB ride is just puzzling beyond words. Hayes has gotten to the part of his life where he’s lettings things change and thats fine but YOU , YOU !!! Brother have years and years more to thrash on to do.
I will say this and I hope you don’t take offense to it but when your in the spot your in its your Job, YOUR JOB to ramp up your team and get their emotions following again. I know that sounds back ass backwards and it is but its the truth. You build your team around you , you pull on those emotional strings to pull your team together like family . Take Lewis Hamilton for example, when he left
McLaren for Mercedes that was a HUGE move from him, He walked away from one of the most successful teams ever in F1 for a basically newbie team. So he was way outside his comfort level but also was walking into an almost unknown startup. He has built that team around him as a family and now he’s pretty much unstoppable. So from where You are now make damn sure the owner of the team is with you and isn’t planning on ditching you at the end of the season and even if he is you will change his mind period. There is no reason whatsoever you can’t be at the very front fighting for the win. If the bike just isn’t working for you find out why. Pull the owner aside and say hey look we need a weekend for a test “if that’s even aloud anymore.” Then pick say Barber and test all 3 days. Find that sweet spot, change stuff in the setup, lower the forks, raise them, change the ride height 2mm at a time. Have your tire rep there to look at the front and rear tires and tell you what the bike is doing because if they aren’t then you need someone that can. The tires show everything the suspension is doing. A good example of a great tire and suspension guy is Dave Moss, if you don’t have someone like him on your team then your missing a key “component of your team.” Here’s a link to Dave’s YT channel
Your fans want to see you at the very front, we know you can race at that pace and win. You have a huge following of fans that want you to succeed but we can only do so much for you. You got to get your head right if thats what is holding you back and fix it. Look at everything as a component of the bike, be it suspension , ride height, brakes, and your head and your emotions are totally invested in getting this program to success . I think you can and there should be a rider coach there telling you this all weekend pumping you up, but from what you have shared with us you don’t have any of that support and your leaving everything up to you. There’s a saying “One man can not pave a road in an day, he has a team of men he relies on.”
Remember Josh you can ride your heart but if the bike isn’t right then its just not going to get you the results you desire. When you have your entire Race Program setup and built around you for success then when you get on the bike those what if’s will start to go away again. You know all of this and the only reason I put the time into writing this post is so you won’t crush your minds eye that your not as good as you once were. Brother your riding better now than I have ever seen you ride there’s just something that is holding you back from being at the very front. As I said if its the bike go test and fig it out, if its your own ego go to a success seminar where they pump you back up, hell take your team if you need to. Do what you need to do to be able to have the tools for success . After that then its up to just you where you end up.
Good Luck and ya busted ribs suck.
? oh he forgot his muzzle ?
“Feels like when someone puts balls on your face” ….wtf?
Yeah! Awesome videos! I’d like to see you smoke everyone!
Love watching sbk races just hoping ur at the front, keep pushin you’ll get back there
