The Scorpion H220 is a great frame for beginners and freestylers! It has a lot of space inside the frame to make for an easier build. Its thick plates and aluminum structure make for a durable building platform that should be able to take a lot of abuse.

Another great review Travis!
this is meant to be a top mount battery not bottom mount
crappy carbon ,unibody has less vibration. bad clone ,bad idea
I find I like a tighter screw hole also…
Good review! You should post this in the MQC… ????
Every one likes a tight hole … I hope … point remains Armattan still holds the only life time frame warranty spend more get more? I know I did, happy owner of a tilt hex 6″ and japalura 3″
For the price you might as well get the real chameleon. She flys like a dream and is tough as nails with a lifetime warranty in the off chance you do break it.
Great review Travis. I like it might try to get me one if they go on sale.
152.4 gr????
don’t support clones. if you are a designer or producer/manufacturer then your opinion is valid. if you are clueless and don’t get it. you are the cloners target demographic. simple. nice review but shame you would support cloners this eagerly. the Chameleon is the most cloned frame along with the alien because the cloners only care about 1 thing… profit and not the hobby/industry/community at all. their tactic is copy the most popular frames and make a half-assed attempt to seem like they are different in some way. it is repulsive and parasitic behavior and ultimately the consumer/industry will suffer.
Just buy the chameleon. It has a lifetime warranty and the price pays for itself. I broke my main bottom frame and they covered the cost of a new one. I just paid 5$ for shipping. Don’t support these Chinese companies.
Nice. I fliped the lower deck upside down to lower the space to mote like the armatan.
Hmmm, I like the removable arms and the press nuts, but the aluminium looks a bit strange, curious as to how well that alu would hold up in a crash, the Chameleon can take some amount of abuse.
Thanks for the review Travis. To me, this looks like a really good frame, as it ‘corrects’ the unibody problem of the Chameleon but keeps (it seems) all the benefits of its ingenious camera cage. Anyway looks like I may have to get one!
travis, I wont knock you for reviewing the Scorpion, or even in your review comparing to the Chameleon (which you should actually get a chameleon and do a fair comparison), but it really is bad form to put right in your title “Generic Chameleon” – you know your fairly popular channel will come up in searches for Chameleon, and in many cases will give an unfair idea that there is anything comparable about this frame and the Chameleon. Let the Scorpion earn its own reputation, and dont promote it as a Chameleon copy.
I got the unibody clone on aliexpress. Its called the PUDA Chameleon and can be had for $42. I may have to get this Scorpion frame too, it seems very well built.
What components are you going to use on this frame?
At first I thought it was just a straight rip-off of the Chameleon, but it does look like they have made a few little tweaks here and there. It’s quite interesting what they’ve done. However the carbon looks like that shiny crap you get from China and the aluminium looks to have been been sand-cast – you can see the pock-marks all over it.
I’ll stick with my 2 genuine Chameleons due to the warranty and customer service (I’ve had one baseplate changed). But that was a good review Travis, and it is interesting to see what the cloners do to tweak the design, some of those ideas that they came up with on their own aren’t bad at all.
