Took out the Ripsaw tank to see how it did in the snow. It didn’t do as well as I had hoped due to very wet snow getting packed into the tracks. If this were a powdery dry snow it would have been no problem. This tank is otherwise fantastic and fun. You can get the basic plastic tracks version for $63 below.

Should do ok on hard crusty snow as well. Slushy wet snow is hard on every thing! Nice video bro!
Nice run, It will work better in dry stuff… But when you run any RC in the snow you must leave it outside for a while to reach outdoor temps so the snow don’t melt and build up and clog it up as much because if you take it right out from the house it is going to be hot and when you go in snow the snow then melts when it hits it and causes it to bunch up and stick to your RC’s much more. These are awesome tanks I have lots of running and mod videos on them they are fun!
Nice one .?????
Yeah it should go much better in the dry snow for sure, good test though Ryan. These are pretty cool tanks, i haven’t ran mine since last summer when i made a comparison video against the fast and furious tank i bought
Looks so fun in the snow, one of these days Iām driving to the snow just to try this. Very cool Ryan ?
Good job Ryan, it seems to run alright and l don’t know if you mentioned it or not but I think that the tracks could be a bit bigger so that the snow won’t clog them up.
How cool is that! However like you, I’m surprised it didn’t do better in the snow. ??
