The UK Drone Show December 5th 6th 2015 NEC

Awesome fun had FPV Racing inside the NEC.

A quick montage of the fun had at the recent UK Drone Show Promo day. Pilots were asked to test out how the 5.8Ghz FPV feed behaves within the metal surrounding of the NEC, as you can see from my view at the start of the video (bottom right) that signal was quite an issue but still flyable for the event.

The video begins with a staged race between myself and fellow HoverSpeed RC Team Pilot MarkG_R1 for the BBC camera man to get some consistent close proximity shots of the quads in formation going round the track. At the end of the day a few of us decided to go anti-clockwise round the track after doing 100+laps the other way, this was great fun and lead to some great racing against TheTonStar1.

Huge thank you to all the people who are hard at work to get this first ever UK Consumer Drone Show up and running, get yourself a ticket and come and say hello to me at the show:
