I would love to see FT perfect that “pod design” and put a huge EDF in the center as well as on each pod. Seeing a design like that actually fly is so cool, but as an air racer it would be even cooler if it was super fast

I haven’t read all of the comments or seen all the videos but…. Have you guys tried to make some Star Wars Pod Racers? EDF with the pod that is trailing holding the electronics and controls? I am a Amateur Radio operator not a RC operator but I am addicted to your videos. I do have a drone but I can dream of glider flying!!!

We had the Red Bull Air Race in Perth, Western Australia years ago. Matt Hall was still flying Hornets. He came to one of the races as an F/A-18 demo pilot and loved the competition so much he left Hornets for a pilot slot in the series. Honestly the Red Bull Air Race is one of the greatest sporting events you’ll ever see. If you have even the slightest opportunity to attend a race – make it happen! You won’t regret it.

I would definitely fix that tail and reactivate the rudder. From the video, it looks like it’s prone to slipping in a turn. But hey, at least you can still bank and yank!
