Maybe version 2.0 will have the bugs worked out for now I think I’d give them a pass.
I think these are good Fpv glasses but we should produce glasses for people who are just starting out and who don’t want to spend more than 100 euros or dollars
not to bad This would have been a great time to FPV your PBY Catalina lol great review Sir Andrew have a great week end take care
Andrew you look like a man from outer space!
It may be time to pick up some aluminum tape and go over the rubber boots when wearing the XFlip goggles?
Mate, if you don’t like them you can always send them up to me!!
Got those tron goggles ????
Sorry to say, but you look like some crazy insect with those shiny eyes and antennas (antennae) all over the place! 🙂
That glossy finishing, it looks so sexy!
Nice picture. Great review ?
Lots of rain by the looks of it
Damn, Andrew has been assimilated by the Borg … :o)
Flying ‘field’ like that would need a Catalina! :v
Manually switched modules had me interested, but did I hear you say one was a ‘master switch’ for both?
I’d thought, up until then, what a great idea- 5.8 one side & a 1.3 on the other…..
Could the switch between them & save wear & tear on pins & sockets…
Would the Avegant Glyph (only sweaty ears) or the Epson Moverio be a option for FPV?
BONKERS!
Pretty sure you could use just one Module and get the same result….Anyway, a great review as usual…I’m guessing the IPD adjustment and larger FOV made a difference. At least the DVR is 16:9….and for quad flying the vertical FOV is perfect. The price isn’t, considering how much the DJI Goggles on AliExpress can be had for.
Hello Andrew!
Totally unrelated but I hope it helps someone else.. I haven’t been able to get UHU POR in Australia for months. Found an ebay retailer in the UK who sells & ships it cheap. ( I am in no way associated with them).
Wow, that’s definitely damp out your way. You’d need to wear either boots or your scuba gear. You should adapt the goggles with breathing supply next time you go out on that field.
