TBS Fusion DVRFlight | FPV Freestyle00:00

Ripping with the new TBS Fusion goggle module. Initial thoughts: Image isn’t over saturated like the Rapidfire is which has bothered me since I got that module. (this can be fixed by ImmersionRC since they recently recognized the cause. Too late?).

The second biggest thing I noticed in comparing the Fusion with the Rapidfire is that It seems to me that the Fusion holds onto a cleaner image when the signal gets a little rough. On the other hand, when the signal gets really bad, the image appears to be worse than what the Rapidfire will display in those really hairy situations. I’m only a few flights in so far, but that’s what has stuck out to me the most.

I’m keeping in mind that the current firmware for the Fusion is still pretty fresh and and the key features aren’t available yet, but I suspect once the firmware matures, its going to be one hell of a competitor against other modules in this class.

(Final note: DVR dropped frames a few times so I had rate stretch to keep the DVR in sync with the GoPro footage.)
