      Yeah, my test one has been a comedy of DOA electronics, but broadly in agreement. The acoustic resonance under 200Hz isn’t ideal, but dynamic filter actually cleans that up quite nicely. The mid-rate turn tracking is pretty phenomenal, definitely feels like it chops hard… coupled with being able to share TPU mounts with my Neutron-R’s, it parties. Only part that was odd was once you transition from mid-rate turns to full rate, it goes from carving to chopping, and that’s why I wadded it up.
      Some extra pitch I gain does great things, the more ruggedized front/rear replacement piece makes it more of a blunt air passthrough, but lighter is probably better.

      Great review Jon. I’ve got my tbs and my pyro box frames in but haven’t gotten to build them yet but both have some great build quality for the price. Love em.

      Lol. I talked about it more in the frame overview.

      But yes, I kinda thought I would not like it, but for the price I think it’s a good way to be able to test out a new frame design choice and see if it works for you.

      Could actually feel the frame design benefits in the air, and was not as fragile as I thought.

      I think the props in view are still a very real downside. But other than that. Not bad.

      Jon E5 FPV Drones the frames both are great but you do need to print a good cam mount for the tbs one. I got them built just no electronics on them yet. Thinking of just swapping my Fl1 arc one box frame over to it after I set up a track and do a direct comparison of 3 packs on each frame and get the average lap time and see if there is any difference in them. It’s just gonna take me a bit to get it done right now but yeah I’m liking the frames. They both are a tad lighter than the arc one with the kinetic aerial box frame but the arc one feels a bit stiffer and sturdier. We shall see. ?

      @Jon E5 FPV Drones yeah those props were kind of distracting. Maybe some smoked grey or clear would be a little better.

      Jon E: Those bottom/top bars should allow for 50-55 camtilt. Might give you even nicer feel.

      The achilles for these kind of frames are the yaw axis. For those who fly butterflight/emuflight up to 0.2.0 want to lower the D on yaw below 5 and lower yaw lpf to 90.

      Using socked head washers for the motor screws covers some of the joints on the motor mounts for even more rigidity.

      It could be done, if you have some low profile ones that you could attach vertically to the arms.
