I was reading the comments to find some interesting question about the
video and I just found out some nail-question.
My question is, is the torque lowered to increase the speed by changing to
a thinner coper wire thus changing resistence? (i’m new to this
physics-eletronics)

i dont think it will last,no balancing to reduce vibrations,no epoxy to
keep the wires in place,he didn’t dip it into some kind of epoxy or
whatever it is,the wires may vibrate and damaging the enamel and causes
short circuit (thats why transformers have something looks like glue(but
its not a glue

3 things:
1. you forget to mention that amount of wire on each side should be equal.
turnwise for smooth torque and weightwise to avoid vibrations and premature
bearing failure.
2. use copper base metal for brushes, preferably some kind of brass,
because brass is self lubricating metal aloy and comutator will last longer.
3 you might want to install another bearing on the comutator side, because
plastic one might be easyly destroyed when you apply too much power to the
motor.
you could also measure amp rating for this motor free spin, under load, and
fully stalled

p = v x i, i = v/r, so you just need to decrease “r” to get more “i” n got
more the “p”.

So from what I understand about this ‘ I can redo the windings on an old
motor as long as the motor its self is not fryed ‘ or burnt out . That is
