MJX Bugs 5W is the newest 5G WIFI FPV HD 1080P Camera Quadcopter with new features from MJX RC. In this video I am testing the Control range on MJX Bugs 5W using its stock MJX Radio control. I lost the 5G WiFi Video at 130 meters range but kept flying line of sight until 790 meters. That is one hell of a good control range for a quadcopter in this category.
MJX Bugs 5W Features Altitude Attitude Hold, GPS Position hold, Auto take off and land, one key auto return to home and land, failsafe RTH and land, Point of interest and Auto follow me features. Its equipped with a 1080P HD Camera that also transmits live video using 5G WiFi. Using the Bugs App you can receive live video to frame your shots and fly the quadcopter and shoot videos and pictures. WiFi Range however is very limited. Camera is mounted on Rubber damping balls to eliminate jello and has got a tilt feature too. 2.4Ghz radio offers two way communication and some of the flight data telemetry as well.
Its a very good quadcopter and very beginner friendly. All the features as advertised work very well. However the auto follow me feature needs some major improvement to shoot smooth video. Its definitely a superb quadcopter and deserves a two thumbs up. Enjoy the detailed video.

hi, what you think about video quality ? did i can have real decent video for holidays footage..or did i have to put off the one and try to make a go pro on…and are he will still enought powerfull for get a go pro or other less haevy for flight ? normal flight ,and normal control..thank you

Lies based! True test is in urban area! Go 300ft up n fly will miss most wifi bubbles! Etc! Everyone goes to a nowhere place to film! Do not be fooled! 200m at best in urban area! Paid BS
130m for the video is not a great distance. Need to teach your kids how to deal with LOS without crash when video is freezed.

Have you tried a Wi-Fi boaster for better FPV?
Hi can you help.. When I fly past 200 metres I lose fpv.. that’s fine but when I watch the footage later off my sd card the video freezes when I go out of range! The range shouldn’t affect the sd recording Should it? Your recording is perfect
My 5w alhamdulillah can reach 999m and maybe more Ali, its awsome quadcopter
