Very nice bro
some info. it is clear that you have never constructed a
wood flying model, from a ‘stick and tissue’ kit. in lieu of
doing so, it would behoove you to Make an Effort to Learn
about Correct, Basic, airframe design.
1) in the case of a flying MACHINE, the Mass in Every
component Should Be MINIMIZED.!!!!!
2) this model has an excessively Heavy central fuselage.
this is because, Nothing was done to REDUCE Mass.
When ‘panel’ components are used, it is desirable that the
material be of a type that will allow extensive use of, mass-
reducing, panel Cutouts. where panel material does not
allow this, it may be practical to engineer a low-mass,
internal ‘frame’/bracing.
3) two crappy wings do Not equal one good wing.!!!
design of the main wings includes the incorrect use of an
otherwise Wonky profile.!!! it should be understood that
Clark (who was a hobbyist) Designed a Very Good, all-
round profile; the clark-y, original version. in other words,
the clark-y Should be one’s ‘go to’ profile. if less lift is,
from the ‘same’ wing area, the clark-y can be made, a bit,
thinner; then a wing will have higher stall and cruising
speeds.
4) at the linked drawing, it can be seen that when a clark-y
airfoil is mounted at zero-degrees aoa (angle of attack),
positive aoa is ‘designed into’ the profile.
5) it should be understood that whenever an aircraft is flying,
ALL the landing gear is Just DEAD Weight. so, if you just
gotta have LG, a taildragger configuration tends to be Lighter.
6) having a (steerable) tail wheel is Not worth the MASS;
which is located At the tail. use a SKID; made from
a piece of (tempered, thin) steel wire or ‘credit card’ plastic.
in theory, a wire-skid could be ‘steerable’.
7) servos Should be installed NEAR the cg/c-m; NOT aft
of it. servo equals MASS.
8) any airplane has Two balance points. cg. and c-m.
center of mass. cg is at the wing. c-m is not. the ideal
location of c-m is Near where ‘a pilot’s navel would be’.
see linked illustration. googletranslate
(aft) panel cutouts
clark-y
ideal location of c-m is indicated
at linked photo, generally correct model airframe structural design is seen. this is however a Very light-weight model (from a rubber-powered kit), the robustness of the structure of the forward fuselage is less-than typical, for an rc application. cheers
Nice bomber, thumb up.
Wow nice??????
Weight?
Great work bro…
