A Day of FPV racing in Wanaka, New Zealand 4K

It’s Summer in New Zealand, the perfect time to bring out the FPV goggles and head outside. FPV, or First Person View, is a way to put yourself into the cockpit of the drone. This gives the pilot the ability to fly in ways not possible with traditional line of sight methods. Awa Drone uses a hybrid of FPV and LOS, when flying our drones. This allows for more unique shots and hire safety when flying near objects.

A new group of FPV pilots is forming in the south island. Check out the more subtle beauty of this exhilarating sport.
