How did your 5.8 make it through your house so you can make low laps around
your house like at 2:13-2:16 would have shut my 5.8 down untill i cleared
the house. Whats your secret?
I just use a cloverleaf antenna, No secret. 🙂
My 250mw 5.8Ghz video would penetrate houses easily. However, there wasn’t
much distance between me and the quad when I did so. Did you experience a
lot of interference?

Awesome I’m glad you like the switch! I am still at least a few months away
from taking the step to 433 Mhz RC. I guess I would need to take a step
down in frequency for video to 2.4Ghz for the long range. Right now I don’t
ever fly farther than a quarter mile with my quad though. I see a Zeph in
my future though…
+ThisIs84 I built up a ZII early on, and used the Dragonlink LawMate 500
2.4 for it as well. It taken me many miles and *very* high. This is the
same combo I use on all my stuff currently, while the DL rx is a bit
overkill for a tiny 250 (ezuhf lite would likely be a better choice) but im
holding on for DL’s new micro (like the size of a AA battery) Rx.
cc3d does it have gps fail safe? i want to know if it does will go back
home?
It does not have GPS failsafe or RTH(Return to home)… The DJI Naza has
those features but, it is not nearly as maneuverable.

It’s around $500 just depends what you get on it.
Wow…that’s a lot lower than I expected. I was planning to get a Blade
350QX or DJI Phantom 2 for aerial video/photography for a lot more. I
guess, FPV and aerial video/photo are very different genre and costs.

Are X Hover and Lumenier the same company, I don’t get it? Why is the
QAV250 in a X Hover video? Shouldn’t it be a MXP?
He used to fly this before he started Xhover as a company I am assuming.
