Pros
– Very inexpensive quadcopter.
– 720p HD FPV camera with swivel lens. No microSD card slot. Instead video is directly recorded to your phone via WiFi.
– Includes altitude hold, one key return, and headless mode.

Cons
– Jello in the recorded video, along with WiFi lag and stutter.
– Proprietary battery.
– Lights blink from takeoff while motors are operating. I think it’s by design as a visual effect. As such, the quadcopter does not not really have an LVC warning.
– Relatively short flight time at 4 1/2 minutes.

Great video. Your channel has one of the highest consistency rates out there. Kudos for working so hard I’m striving to get there now. But you’re a great inspiration.
The addition of a 720P HD camera does no good if its a jello maker, like this one. Looks like you can go maybe 30 m before the stuttering and freezing FPV starts, which would make it rather impractical for any real FPV flying. Not only a proprietary battery, but a pretty short flight time. On another note, I know the store you are talking about at the entrance of Presque Isle State Park .. they sell lots of souvenirs there. (got no reason to buy any myself, since I kind of live in the area .. well, about 60 miles from there). Thanks for the look. Cheers.

Seriously though, the 0.3mp is fine on most quads that don’t have a dampened gimbal imo, 720p wonkey jello video is equally as useable as 0.3mp wonkey jello video.
They should however go the route of SD card recording AND wifi phone recording, these days there’s no excuse not to record on both platforms.

Talking about orientation… I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been out and my quadcopter is a small little dot and I’ve no idea what direction it is in. Forward pitch, right or left yaw and wait for it to stop turning and homeward bound it comes. Thanks for your videos.
