Victory 230 – Week of Flying the Best Budget FPV Racing Drone

The Victory 230 is the best budget quadcopter for newbies getting into FPV, with features of ARF kits that costs twice as much. Am impressed with it overall! This ARF has one of the ‘beefiest’ power systems with 20amp ESC’s and 2306 motors, mellow to fly with plenty of power/tilt to grow into.

Comes with a carrying case and all the spare parts needed to fix it from most crashes, you cannot find a better price to performance machine elsewhere! The only small issue is the camera mount likes to pop off easily, which was fixed with some zip-ties… other issue is with a lot of camera tilt the FPV camera is a bit exposed during landing- RCTimer has a fix in the works, and quite honestly it’s not a big deal to fix or replace as the kit comes with extra camera mounting hardware if(and when) it does break.

Thanks to Shawn, and Frank at RCTimer for the review unit. RCTimer has a pretty solid line-up with their BeeRotor series. Have several other RCTimer machines I’ll be testing out- currently filming with the BeeRotor 180.
