Pros
– Video Quality is very good (license plates and street names are legible)
– Rear-view mirror mount allows for a very clean install
– Accepts 64gb sd cards
Cons
-Windshield mount isn’t very good but better than the Garmin’s
– Had to pay for the rear-view mirror mount
– It is very difficult to remove the micro-sd card
– very picky with SD Card brand (tried Sandisk and Kingston, didn’t like the cards I tried, the dashcam would crash. A-Data works perfectly)

Pros
– Video Quality is ok
– Micro sd is easy to replace
– not picky with SD Cards (worked with kingston, adata, samsung, sony, sandisk)
Cons
– Video Quality is only ok
– Windshield mount is terrible
– Max 32gb sd card
Wow I am not impressed with Garmin at all. I have noticed the poor color
quality it has on other videos as well. DOD has been around making dash
cams a long time. It seems like they know what they’re doing much better.
Shame on Garmin. Big name brand but poor quality :(

Garmin footage is on Top and the DOD is on the bottom.
