This one had some help from the wind. Actual speed was probably in the upper 170’s. I forgot to turn down my PIDs for 6S which made for a very bumpy ride.
Again, no special modifications done to the frame.

Have you ever thought about using 4 jet motors!
See you could use the motors from this guys build –
And build it in an X formation of 4 jet motors. Use a drone quad FC. Maybe steal the body design from the SR-71 Blackbird but X frame shape. Could be my kind of crazy sauces :D.

Outstanding designs – great you seem to have found a way around the drag issue. Can’t wait to see your ideas around the inertia issue when it comes to handling. I’ve got some extreme ideas, and will get back to you by then. For now – excellent work, mate
What kind of amperage draw are you getting out of this prop/motor combo? I can’t see it being only 35A with such a high KV and steep prop. That “35A” 4 in 1 esc must be really robust.
Very cool I’m keeping a eye on the arx r 2 so I can place my order,would be cool to include a bundle setup in other words ….motors, guts,props,ect. .Hope it’s not much longer to get #2 .I would get the 1st build but website said discontinued:(
