that is a very old video. That hardware probably is obsolete now. You can find better and newer stuff easily

Get this one 馃檪 not much is changing for now. except that brushless 2S and 3S FPV Whoops are coming out
used to have nitro stuff. not anymore. noisy, polluted, dirty, trouble to tune engines, more money to order nitro, then store and carry highly flammable fuel every time, not good. Electric is best now

I’m pretty new to the hobby, deciding whether to get the gtr349 or gtr249+
I suggest get a Brushless Whoop and you will be able to fly anywhere. and its safer too. saves costs in terms of repairs too as they do not get damaged so easily
@alishanmao I’ve already ordered the trashcan but I was shopping for a quad that would quench my thirst for going balls to the wall fast outdoors instead of a whoop. I ended up choosing the gt-r249+ because I was worried I wouldn’t be able to handle all the power of the gt-349 and that the 349 would be too loud to fly in a park area near people.
Hey Ali, I can’t remember if I asked you this before, but if you had to pick one 3 inch, which would it be: the r349, xjb145 or another (with respect to flight characteristics (i.e. what flies better, is more fun and flies more like it’s ‘on rails’), performance and speed)? -thanks

What props did you get with it? I recently received one and it came with some weird 3028 props, while I get the impression that it originally shipped with higher pitch props?
Stock
Stock can mean two different things, as Diatone changed the stock props, as well as a few other things. Some shipped with GemFan 3052, recently it was changed to Gemfan 3028.

I got a 239 a few weeks ago and it needed a receiver and modifications to the OS. I assume that the same is true for the 249
I just ordered the vtx version a few days ago from the diatone website! Can鈥檛 wait to get it!!! I knows it鈥檚 insane to get the insanometer quad as my first fpv unit but I have been flying line of sight for 30+ years and flying very fast things ? check out the EFXTRA amazing airplane!

what mah battery are you using? I saw that you were at 850 mah when you still had 14.3 volts left . it looks like it handled well.
850mAh 4S. guess the OSD showing wrong mAh at 14.3 maybe?
